The anti rally rally
 

Saturday a rally was held at the mall in washington. Regardless of what the press tries to tell you this was basically an "anti Beck" rally in response to Glenn Becks "Restoring Honor" rally.

The event put together by hundreds of community orginizations including NAACP, SEIU.

With all that manpower, money, and 'orginizing' behind them they drew 'thousands'. As opposed to Beck's much disputed 10's of thousands. Just compare the pictures and make your own judgement.

There is a large 'enthusiasim gap' and liberal democrats should be well aware of it.

its because they didn't have the support of the news media. you also have to take the fanaticism of Beck's fans into account.

Enthusiasm is not always a good thing, and in fact more often than not a bad thing when it comes to something like politics, which is sorely lacking in cool heads.

You see CCIP you are now talking sense in a political thread, you must amend your ways as it is plain as day that this is not how tings are supposed to be.
Instead you should throw out empty assertions, insults which make no sense and other such things.

Don't forget rabidly foaming at the mouth, blowing things way out of proportion (and sense), and spewing party rhetoric everywhere.

And let us not forget quote mining, misrepresentation of differing viewpoints and threatening to kill kittens. Politicing is hard work.

If ever pictures can tell the tale these two certainly tell the tale of the collapse of Democrats.

It tells the tale of how so many muppets can get hyped up by a fear mongering ex junkie spouting nonsense in the mainstream media.

Not commenting about numbers, elections and polling, but I'm rather understanding of ex-junkies. People who can hit the bottom and turn their lives around do not deserve to have the label thrown in their faces.
