Risk-Type game

So Im thinking about hosting a risk sort of game.

Back when TalkEmpire was still up, there was a guy named Craig who always hosted one.

I need about 6 people who want to try it out, as I dont remember our system 100%.

What exactly is this?

You create/choose a nation, pick the land for it, and you build it up every "turn" (1-2 turns a day).

Every day, a bonus is put into your nation, example:

Turn 1, 5,000 population
Depending on land, water, anything else I can dream up: Turn 2, 6,522 people.

Like that.

This game gives 100% freedom, so if you want to draft your population, go ahead. If you want to build ships and invade other countries (unless you border them) go ahead, and ill factor in the bonuses.

I need to make a freewebs site for this.

Anyone interested?

Time period chosen:
1900-

If not, just say it any ill tally them

Why not start the game around 1880 and end it in 1950, beginning right before the Scramble for Africa (when the Imperial Zenith of Europe began) and ending right after World War II in the years leading up to the harshest times of the Cold War?

Well you see, thats why theres voting :P

We decide when a period starts, then goes until someone controls the world.

Due to the nature of subsim, ive decided the poll is closed, the time period will begin in 1900.

EDIT: I'm fixing the map so we can have near-authentic 1900 borders. Shouldn't be too hard since Kaiserreich is based off of Germany winning the Great War with only minor variations in territory boundaries.

If i can have Fistonia, i'm game, Fistonia is a unified nation of Finland and Estonia.

Actually, nevermind, turns out I actually have to do some work at work today, I have been here for 4 months and this is the first time I am actually doing something related to my job.

Do I smell file edit/mod?

Some limited editing, made Finland into fistonia, made all the estonian provinces natives, added new flag, combined the researcher pool and generals. After that it was all down to well timed warfare and preparations. The AI fails hillariously when you employ the tactic of in depth defense, let them create a salient, cut off their line of retreat and supply and watch hundreds of divisions of soviet troops get anihilated by CAS and finally moped up by infantry.
I did'nt play that game though, but a friend of mine did, I just gave him the idea of Fistonia and made the flag.
