[REQ] Type XX1 boat

If this boat was commissioned in 1943 is it possible to introduce it into SH5? I know this is a blind shot but would like to know if it was possible.

It's possible yes.
But the ground work for perfect imports is not finished.
With my system nearly dead?
I can't finish the work needed at this time.
:nope:

That's unfortunate. I don't have the skills to do that.

I don't either.
I invent the skills as I go.
:haha:

Another thing to consider is that the XXI that made it into Op Monsun was a port from SHIII, as far as I remember, and since it looked a bit dated in SH4 it's gonna look really dated in SH5.

There's also the interiors to think about... Someone would need to finish the whole rest of the boat outside the conning tower and control room.

Personally, I think it would be epic to just make new boats from scratch or almost from scratch to be on par or better than SH5 stock level of detail, particularly the Type IX and variants, but I realize that would be a monumental undertaking.

Either way, there are big changes for SH5 on the horizon!

The Type IXC done by Ref for GWX 4 is under going testing and adjusting for SH4 right now.

Once that is completed?
We'll use that as the base for an SH5 version.
The 3D model lacks nothing compaired to SH5 models.
It is a Master's piece of work!
:yeah:

Would love to see some vids of a type 9 with SH5's 3d engine :yep:

I started a conversion to GR2 file format before my system started acting up.
:nope:

Someday.

Wow that would be great!
