Runescape had something like this waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back, pretty effective method of "fishing" people in to buy a account. :yep:

Lots of games are doing it ,LOTRO's just done it ,Everquest 2 is about to do the same - it's a way to get new people in to check out your games but I'd rather just pay the sub and get all the goodies anyway ,save the hassle with having to buy this and that addon (doesn't bother me with LOTRO though ,I've been a lifer since it started over 3 years ago and get all the goodies plus extras :D)

Do you still have to buy the client?

I may have to try this out. I was ABOUT to make a post asking for game recommendations. I'm pretty bored with what I have.

Yep, I went back to Dungeons and Dragons online when it went free to play. Lasted bout 2 months though, very upset how they made the archer class that I quit. :haha:
