Just had the best run I ever had solely because i smacked myself and said "DONT GET COCKY!". Worked like a charm.

Actually early in the war is the only time it's relatively safe to be even a little bit cocky, so enjoy it while it lasts. :D

I got cocky again... and now U-53 sits at the bottom on the northern east coast of England. I was just heading back whistling after 5 coastal merchant ships sunk.

Nothing too large but at least i'm in one piece.

Then of course on the return route a radio message tells me that a small convoy is nearby... You can probably guess the rest due to my skills thus far.
