No holes from torps?
Hi Mates,
I'm using DW great mods, but 1 thing I noticed was that now when 4 torps hit a ship, there are no holes under the hull as before. Update; I hit with 4 torps wit spread...got 2 holes - new load Anyone else have this issue? |
Yes I have same thing and also if you use external camera and view back of some ships then sometimes props just drop off even if you hit front of ship with torps and as torps hit and still no hole. big explosion though. Dont know which mod is causing it.:-?

Yes, I have recently noticed this also. I was wondering if it was the FX_Update mod from DW as I think that was the last one I've added when I started to notice this but haven't tested to see. Just guessing at this point.

I just did test with no mods on funnel smoke mission and hit near front of carrier and no hole and big fire on deck and explosion and all 3 props drop off and vanish and speed goes from 17-2 knots instantly, then tried other missions and other ships and torps made holes as normal.
Could be reaction off carrier ships or funnel mission that is somehow the problem. |
i know it too and i think it is a stock problem.
big Ships (Troop Transporters,Carriers, and Battleships) have no visual Torpedo Damage. |
Some Units are missing the GrannyDamageDecals Controller.
It's in the .sim file if it's there at all. |

Add one to a larger Unit and see what it looks like.
Maybe there is a reason larger Units don't have the controller. :hmmm: |
there is an actual mod which adds visual damage.. believe it was made by the same author who made the plane attack mod,
It's under visual damage or something or other Sorry that this is vague, i no longer play bcause i have no home PC :( |
