newbie need help :cry:
when in a patrol... I always try to check enemy ports, but it seems I cant find any capital ship docked, so anyone can help where I can find it??? maybe date, grid, port or something??:hmmm::hmmm:

I think they disappear when they dock so people can't cheat, don't worry I don't think you will find many ships docked in stock and when there are it'll be hard getting in. Go attack a convoy or a lone merchant don't try and sink a docked ship it's just cheap. :DL

Stock SH3 has almost no ships, in any harbors, ever. They left that to the modders, so if you want to see them you'll have to install a supermod. :sunny:

There are several supermods, and all of them make SH3 a completely new (or should I say, full) game. I highly recommend you try them!

Highly recommend you read the literature on them before makeing your own decision.
What one considers a plus, may very well be considered a minus by another.

That being said, GWX has an exellent manual which makes for good reading whether one decides to install it or not. It is always better to make an informed decision, than blindly follow another's advice.

If you're looking to do any real harbor raiding stock isn't going to give you anything, you'll need to go with one of the mods which populate the harbors and put capital ships in their locations from their historical records (and when they're out at sea). Biggest ship you'll usually run into in stock are the convoy escorts.

Tis been almost five years since I was playing stock, never got lucky and got into a port on a day I dedided to try and harbor raid. Remember seeing more capital ships/flat tops as escorts in stock.
