What do the escort ships do afterwords?
 

Hi everyone.

Anyways I know the escort ships are their for only one thing to "escort" important ships accross dangerous seas. But what do they do when you sink the ship/s they were protecting. You think after searching for you sub a few hours they would leave for the port they came from or the port they were going to.

But that never seems to happen. They will leave the scene and be back in about 2 hours coming at me in reverse!:06:. And then just circle around the area for days on end. Some even remain traveling in reverse for the entire duration of their unwelcomed stay. I mean don't they have better things to do!

I am 99% sure they have no idea where I'm at I'm past the thermal layer just over crush depth.

This is on stupid AI. Does anyone have a fix for what i think is a bug?

The only conclusion I can come to is that they are doing way to much :()1:

Did you try any of the AI fixing mods? If not, check IRAI - it's supposed to be the latest and hardest AI tweak. This may or may not suit your needs though.

I dont have it but from what I understand the base games AI is extremely flawed. I would download TDW's IRAI mod, it improves the AI immensly, watch it though because it gets extremely dangerous to be around escorts.. again so I heard, im still waiting on my copies of SH3, 4 and 5 to arrive :D happy hunting sailor :up:
