Trouble with canal locks...

So the last few patrols I've run out of Kiel, I've noticed that when I reach the locks to enter/exit the canal, they don't seem to want to open for me. I have to call all stop before I crash into them, and then wait a bit for them to open up. I'm pretty sure I can remember being able to plot my course out and let the game run without having to manually navigate the locks when I reach them, and as far as I can tell I haven't changed anything since the last time I had a career out of Kiel. Or has it always been this way and my memory is just being weird?

If you actually HAVE working locks, that is a mod - and I suspect that you can't just call 'em up and ask to have them opened - ya gotta wait (scripted). Look in the readme that came with it. Stock/GWX doesn't have working locks ........

Be happy that it is a game, when I went from Lübeck

and then go through seven different channel systems in Europe,to finally come down in the Med, just west of Marseille, and the journey was around 260 locks, and many were purely diabolical,so was glad that it is a Mods :yep:

Okay I looked through the mods forum and apparently the Wilhelmshaven/St. nazaire/schluese/etc mod adds moving locks to the kiel canal... Funny I never had a problem with them before now lol

Newer version - IIRC the older ones didn't have it.

I hope it will work out so fast as possible,
