Graphics problem in Silent Hunter III
 

Hello to everyone.
Just installed SHIII with the 1.4b DVD patch and the crack so that I can play it on Windows 7 without Starforce.
The game loads without the disc in tray without problems, but when it shows the main menu it looks like this:

I'm running Windows 7 32-bit on a laptop (Core i5 @2.26 GHz, 6GB RAM, Radeon 5650 with dedicated memory).
The graphics chip has the latest Catalyst drivers installed.

If You have K-Lite codec pack installed, You should unistall this codeck pack.:salute:

I'll try that, but don't understand what it has to do with the main menu UI.
Oh, and I use Win7 64-bit, sorry for the mislead in my first post.

Though I can't help you I can explain why the K-lite could be the problem. There are historical videos about uboats played in the background.

ARE YOU JOKING?? I have K-lite and everything works fine!

Maybe you don't have all features installed or maybe yours newer or older. Hardware differences etc. Lot's of possibilities.

No problem mate. I'm glad that I've been helpfull. If You like to watch movies on Your PC/Laptop try to download different version of the K-Lite codecs. I have installed the older version of the K-Lite, and I run SH3 without problems.:yep:

No textures for the sea and u boat
 

I have a Problem On Silent Hunter 3

when iam inside the u boat textures are ok but when i go outside to command bridge the sea goes black and there is no u boat it like iam flying in mid air can u help


It would be appreciated :)

Why not just buy one of the newer versions?

They cost under 1 hours take home wages.
(You've probably invested over an hour on your present install, and thus saved nothing).
