Cheap computers for under $120?

I keep getting emails offering cheap computers for under $120

Does anyone know if they are worth it or if they are upgradable?

I have old video cards etc, not to mention strange ram in the spares bin.

I need a computer that just gets on the internet and does some WP and plays simple rts games for my son.

I have a usb modem so it doesn't need a modem.

Still on dial-up

120 ? sounds like a scam to me

Is it an unsolicited email from nobody you've heard of or from a reputable company?

If the first then add to junk, if the second then go to site but don't follow email links. 120 doesn't sound like it'll do much at all.

It's theoretically possible, I think, but they would be rather horrible.

Wouldn't get one from spam mails in any case, though.
