Question? Can other DW Campaigns, DW SP missions, be played with DWX ver 2.1?

I haven't Looked yet but I assume there is a folder with 688I and SC SP
missions for play with Ver 1.2

Yes they can you just need to copy or cut them and paste them on the main scenario folder.
