Need a hand
 

I'm going to start playing SH III again,and I need help with the patching and modding,as it has been a while since I had it on my hard drive.As I recall I had several patches to the game itself and I used Ducimus's large mod for game play.I was thinking about GWX,but it might be a little too tough for my abilities.A fast search for Ducimus's mod,and I was unable to find it.If someone could inform me if I can just use the last patch,or if I need to download all the game patches,and apply them in order.
I will continue to search for Ducimus's mod,and will appreciate any and all help with the patching.

Hi mate,

Welcome back, you only need to install the v1.4 patch on a fresh install of SH3. Look at the JSGME thread for info on the latest version ogf the mod-enabler.

Argh!SH III is a no go on my Windows 7 system.It's a game Shadow thing,as my cd is an older one.i tried all the windows 7 help suggestions,and if I want to play SH III,I'm going to have to buy the newer disk from Subsim,and thats not a bad thing.I just hope it will play O.K.Anyone that has gone that route,please tell me it will work out.I play Panzer General III,and it's ten years old,w/o problems.I was a bit let down,but I'm determined to get back to SH III.
Update....tried to purchase from Subsim games,and couldn't click on anything so I could purchase the SH II & SHIII.I went to Amazon.com,and they have it available.I would prefer to help Subsim out,but they need to fix that problem.

All you have to do is go to Amazon through the link at the top right corner of this page. Amazon sells you the item, Subsim gets a kickback. This works for anything you want to buy, not just Sub games.
