1/400 S-13 Soviet Submarine (possible large pics warning!)
I found an old kit I had bought a long time ago, back when my hands were too shaky to build these kits with so much detail, I knew what the sub was in better detail thanks to the Battle of the Baltic mod for SH4. I built the kit in all of an hour and a half, to the finished product you see here. I love the instruction manual. The sprue in the cellophane bag was attached to the manual (made of a very rough paper, cardstock almost.) by thread.
I have another one of these, I left it in Illinois, it's a D-class, but I didn't spend as much time and I ruined all the decals. Either way, enjoy the pics! http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/o...02-10_0311.jpg http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/o...02-10_0312.jpg http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/o...02-10_0313.jpg http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/o...02-10_0314.jpg me holding the sub, sorry for the blurriness. Hope you get an idea of the scale. http://i391.photobucket.com/albums/o...02-10_0310.jpg |
Very nice, good detail for such a small model!
1/400 is extremely small, and with you being like 6'5" it looks even tinier :O: |
XD
just wait till we get to the sub exhibits at the meet, I'm surprisingly under encumbered for my height PS. I'm only 6'2" :O: |
