Need feedback from Red Orchectra (STOCK) players!
 

How is the game nowadays, are there still players? If so, how many? Servers full, or half an hour looking for an server?

EDIT: Save me from the "Try this and this mod", I don't care, how is the stock game.

Steam automatically suggests you try the Darkest Hour mod which makes me wonder how the stock game is. :hmmm:

I played stock RO 2 years or so ago and liked it, guess DH is just of an addon, if I have understood it correctly, DH models the western europe battles only, leavin eastern europe to RO.

Loved the custom maps, especially the Finns vs. Russians Continuation War maps, very VERY atmospheric wih russian armor running on the woody hills where the Finninsh trecnhes were and Russian infantry pouring into the trenches. Awesome stuff.

You can still find a couple servers with good activity.

If I wasn't $1 dollar short of the price, and if my Fiance wouldn't kill me for spending our last $9 dollars(yay for being poor college students). I think I'd give this a try.

Was contemplating reinstalling RO the other day, got it on Steam. :yep:

Re-installed it last night/this morning. Is nice for sniper duels. :yep:

that kind of a tank sim, but some part I have tried,but not just this, is it related to online?

It's an FPS, not a tank sim (Though it has tanks too). There is multiplayer, and there's no real point playing singleplayer.
