Interested in 'space weather' ??

Hard to compete with the poop thread but here goes..

Interested in space weather? This site will keep you busy for hours.

http://prop.hfradio.org/

I check it daily for HF propagation forecasts but alot of interesting info and theory there.

I don't know what to do with about 90% of that information but the propagation forecasts and models are great:up: I wish I'd had that site back when I actually had to deal with such things, but it's still interesting now.

Honestly I am about the same, I just check the propagation forecast which is always normal or fair/normal  and to watch the sunspots roll around.

Its about freakin time we saw some sunspots... :woot:

Space has weather? I thought weather was like sound. There has to be a measuable medium in which it can travel. But I am not very bright. I voted Hope and Change. LOL

There is a real time solar wind gauge there... check it out :salute:

After looking at some of the charts, I think I'll try to draw a comparison between solar activity, the magnetosphere, and global mean temperatures. It may be nothing, but I could swear I see some correlations with temperature charts.

I've had that theory for a while. I think it helps explain the current ice age conditions are Mars, much like its theorized that increased temperatures on Earth will cause one. :hmmm:

Philosophy Room, excellent,
