CAN'T SEE????

Say guys .... has ayone had trouble with SH4 in Win 7?????:wah::wah:

I ask, because having installed the game, the periscopes will not operate from the keyboard :ping:

Everything else seema Ok, but this problem! Can't even leave base without mi 'scope' can I ??

I did a complete reinstall of SH4 and the Uboat expansion about two weeks ago. It went rather smoothly and have had no problems with Win 7 for this game (don't get me started on other games though)

Now I have never used the keyboard function to raise the periscope. I always use the mouse. So I may have your problem but just don't know it. Have you tried to use the mouse to raise the periscope to see if that works?

I don't know anything else about the game but I can certainly vouch that the keyboard shortcuts to raise/lower both periscopes works just fine on my install:

Win7x64 with SH4 w/UBM

Mine to:

Win7x64 with SH4 w/UBM, TMO and RSRD.

Any info?

Are you using stock game or modded game? Which?

Well I have 32bit as opposed to 64, if that makes any diff??? :shucks:

I reinstalled everything, patches; submissions; the lot and got into the game before I found the problem. So, I uninstalled the game and just installed the basic game without any addys! Just the same here, so I can't even play the basic game as things are here :damn: :damn:
