Have eggs made you sick??
 

I was listening to NPR this morning. They were discussing the egg recall and how widespread it is "over a half million eggs recalled and thousands sickened".

Now granted I live in the southeast and it may be a regional thing but I have talked to pepole accross the nation and have yet to find one person that either has been sickened or knows of someone who was.

This got me to thinking.. thousands sickened... you would think with that number you would at least have a second cousin or some relation that was 'exposed'.

So just a quick poll accross the Subsim community for what its worth (which aint much).

Well the forum software wen nuts and screwed up my poll so here is the short version...

1,) I live in North America and have been sickened by tainted eggs.

2.) I live in North America and know of person(s) that were sickened by tainted eggs.

3.) I live in North America and have not personally heard of a person stricken with the illness (through personal contact, news storys dont count).

4.) I dont live in North America therefore cant influence the poll.

Well... I got two or three eggs in my fridge that have gone bad maybe 2 months ago. Think I could sue someone over there if I ate them? :hmmm:

Not me. Of course I haven't eaten any in about 50 years.

3. I've also not had any eggs in a while now. (not because of the recall tho)

I haven't eaten eggs either, but that's because I'm a vegitarian.

In other words, an easy decision to not eat eggs,

I have a friend who feels a little queasy any time he eats eggs, but I don't think he counts.
