So Big Brother is watching us. What get's pushed aside is that we're also watching Big Brother. Getting photographed 200 times per day? Who do they have with the time to look at all these pictures? Facebook? I keep a page, but there's not a thing on it worth reading, nor of interest to anyone but friends.

The internet has made all this possible. You want to stop it? Outlaw the internet. Outlaw computers. Outlaw surveillance, including security cameras in stores. Outlaw everything.

That'll fix it. :dead:

I really don't know why people do things like facebook. Call me old school, but IMO It's idiotic to post ANY information about yourself unless you absolutely have to. Say if your making a purchase at amazon or something. Not much choice then, billing info being what it is.

But social networking sites? Hell, even messageboards. I wouldn't even so much as give out my first name. People i've talked to/worked with here over the last few years don't even know it. So posting all this info about yourself on facebook, In my mind, is absolutely insane.

Now about the bit on camera's. I have to wonder if i really am caught on camera 200 times a day. Being caged in this cubical.... i kinda doubt that.:O:

I joined Facebook because Neal had a page there. I didn't even activate my page until my sister asked me to. That said, if not for Facebook I wouldn't have been reunited with my daughters, so I won't complain.

As for real names, I always used mine until I came to Subsim, and the only reason I chose a screen name was because everyone seemed to be doing it, including (at that time) Onkel Neal. I don't care who knows my name, nor who I am. Maybe it goes with being a musician - I want people to know who I am.

When you have an internet connection it is pretty difficult not to divulge certain details to second and third parties.

For example....a simple ip addy (in the right/trained hands) can lead to a plethora of information on an individual, information the individual hadn't knowingly shared.

I've witnessed its interrogation first hand in persuit of the criminal fraternity and it left me speechless.

Granted, it is time consuming and dependant on hi tech resources, but it is doable if the inquisitor is determined.

It's also one way how spam gets to your email inbox. Just FYI. :O:

Plus a whole lot more in the way of information collecting devices http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...es/wolfcop.gif

People should not have any expectation of privacy when sending any information through the Internet Tubes. :nope:

If you don't want people reading it, don't post it on the internet. :yep:

I've known a couple

God (no really God) or the kingdom of God including the saints in heaven and the angels then

some prophets of God(which usually do more than watch though not necessarily a lot more because they're still human who can be afraid, I know lame maybe just the one I knew, too bad because he made even the oracle in the movie Matrix looked very lame) then

Satan or the kingdom of satan(if it's not watching everything it's being stupid)

Agents of satan(those who spy without moral consideration no not mere ethics but without MORAL consideration whatsoever, much like the prophets these also do more than just watching)

Then and only then
whatever state agency and their numerous internet companies. . . . usually in the form of electronic surveillance.
Not sure how remote viewing work or whether they're neutral.

I'd worry about the first four most especially the first two knowing what they're capable of knowing . . .unless you're a terrorist. Nothing absolutely nothing is private to the first four you can bet on that. They don't even need your participation.

I must be confusing....if so then the message was successfully understood . . . .hey free information for all! Help the helpless gain knowledge even if it would confuse them or even anger them!
