Wondered how they'd get him.

Onkel Neal 08-21-10 06:57 AM

Haha, how quickly things have turned. Have to give the Agency credit for imagination.

Tchocky 08-21-10 07:18 AM

This smells odd.

I wonder what we'll find out over the next few months.

Walking on socks through London makes you an exccentric, but if he really raped somebody, then he would be an #######.

IF IT IS TRUE.

I have expected stories being raised that would link Assange to drugs. However, trying to damage him by linking him to rape also is a good choice if you want to damage him and pay back for his publications.

For Sweden it also could be an opportunity to "expel" a controversial figure (=keep away) whom to tolerate can only mean conflict with america. I think it was Sweden where a pirate-party gave Assange asylum for his servers within their party's official rooms, so that they cannot be raided by the police.

Currently we cannot say whether this is a dirty trick, or is true. but the guy has powerful enemies, that is for sure.

Yeah, last week the Pirate Party started hosting a good deal of Wikileaks, and as far as I know they cannot be raided.
Previously Wikilieaks main hosting was PRQ, and they were raided a few years back.

What's the CIA doing? I mean come on, show some imagination here. CIA operative assassinates our good friend here, problem solved and no one knows who did it.:yeah::O:

mookiemookie 08-21-10 09:39 AM

Well if the CIA can't get this to stick, there's always the pedophile angle. Just drop that story and let the "gotcha media" try him and convict him.

Hooray....freedom?

Foreign intelligence organizations,

has not to this to make sure what some believe, rather, depends on the internal leaks, which have made possible an arrest,if it is true or not, seems to be very unclear and this may well be a decoy for a purpose,as I see it, initially it is not enough information, but given the media likes to revel.

Jimbuna 08-21-10 10:49 AM

I can't honestly say I'm suprised.....well just a little regarding the subject matter :DL

Oberon 08-21-10 10:56 AM

I'm not surprised,

for several reasons, what is the evidence? There are other actors involved in this mess, time will tell what happens...
