Those horsepower figures are quite staggering, but when it comes to horsepower per liter of displacement this little gem from the 80's has them beat, I'm speaking of the BMW M12/13 turbo 1.5l.
Here is a dyno chart from a low boost run, during qualifying these things pumped out up to 1500. Personally i find the power curve frightening, 200hp in 500 revs.
