The end of the road!

Hi mi Friends,

and I mean all of you, but for sure the most closest and dearest ones
that were in contact directly with me and on mi friends list.

A special worm hug and thumbs up to the Director of this all picture
Neal Steven our beloved Site Admin. and friend.

I have reached the end of the road on Modding, partially due to
Real Life changes and also on mi new objectives that I have in Hand,
I have tried always to give you the best of me, and the best I
could offer, targeting specially the ones that had no chance of
buying games ail the time, everything I have done was well
intentioned and made with hart , so that when I enjoyed it was
the joy of others.

Loved the words and help, the teaching and knowledge, but most
of all the friendship that came from this work.

Everything haves an end, and this is mine, I am passing some
hard changes on mi real life that affect all on it, some of them are not
good and others are simply wonderful but we have to learn to
go the day by day with them both.

This is just a good by on modding and never will be a good by on you!

A hart felted salute to all.:salute:

Those of us who have used and loved your mods won't forget the work you did in our behalf. If you don't ever do another Silent Hunter mod, we'll still have these to enjoy.

Best of luck.

Good luck, my friend. :salute:

No personal connection here, but I was here from the start of SH3's tenure, and to see someone like you leave is another hit that makes me realize that the great time of SH3 is more and more over with every person that leaves.

I've been absent much the last 2 years or a bit more but I still remember with fondness the time I spend waiting and testing Grey Wolves, reading with excitement the ongoing list of mods on the Subsim download page, and just overall being a part of the vibrant SH3 experience that started in 05.

Will miss you and all the rest that have moved on. Its really been a significant distinctive period in the history of gaming.

Cheers.

Hi JCWolf,

i can realy understand, what you meant in your first post here. During the time i modded SH3, in (2006 was o.k.) 2007, 2008 and 2009, i've realy got some critical “problems”. But on the other site – remember those great Commanders like JUERGEN OSTEN (he died on August, 5th, 2010 at the age of 96; or REINHARD HARDEGEN – one of the last, still alive, at the age of 97!!!

And someone, most forgot, because he was just a “Flotilla-Commander”: HANS ECKERMANN, Chief of the 1st U-Boat-Flotilla, born 1905. Nothing heard (or read) about his death.

All that's why i remember an old English sentence: “Old soldiers never die, they just fade away”.

So please – keep modding.

Greetings
