Futuristic carrier model .dae format
 
i have got a decent looking carrier model, looks a little futuristic but i think it's great.

it's done in google sketchup.

i have downloaded a collada file so it has a dae file, if someone can convert it and put weapons and stuff on it that would be great.'

i'll post a few screens of it for you.

You asked me if I can send you all of my carriers. Ironicly this is one of them, only in .obj. Also it is from that ship I made the textures for the Montana and South Dakota.

how would one go about making this playble

i know it involves a whole load of work but if anyone could give us a small tutorial and i if karl would give me permission to try.
i would like to try and make this career playable for us campaign

also how do you convert obj to sh4 compatible format and what format does it have to be

.obj/Wavefront files are SH4 compatible. As far as I know it`s the only 3d format S3D supports.

You don`t open the 3d models with S3D. Open NCV_USEarlyWar.dat with S3D. Open the node NCV_USEarlyWar and you will find a 3d model. Replace it with one of your carriers. This is how you get a 3d model in S3D.

most likely im currently trying to get a nimitz in but the model is to highly detail i need someone to sort that out for me i'll post a screen

this model cost 185 pound but i can use it however i want, im not aloud to sell it so it has to stay here on this site strictly.

i need someone who can get this in game, bare in mind that it's got a high poly count and alot of detail.

i spent alot and it would be a waste not to use such a great model.

all credit will go to the create and i will also like someone to put weapons and torpedoe tubes onto it, the model is also very big so it will need scaling down and it's polycount lowered.

also it has to have decent radar and a decent amount of weapons on her, please help me with this and i will continue to get us great models from my end to help put in game. all credit will go to those who help with this and if no one wants to then please tell me how to do what i asked.

Im guessing it has to be the exact same amount as what it says.
