Russian wildfires reach Chernobyl zone

Just when you thought the wildfires couldn't get any worse, now its reached areas affected by the Chernobyl disaster.

From the report; "Environmental groups, including Greenpeace, have warned that radioactive particles which settled into the soil after the 1986 disaster could be thrown up into the air once again by wildfires and blown into other areas by the wind."

The price of Russian bread, meanwhile, is rising sharply in Moscow as repercussions from the country's months-long record drought start to have an impact on the cost of food supplies.
I'd have thought that would would be the least of the people living in the fire regions troubles

The Bread Queue
http://www.timhunkin.com/page_pictur...read_queue.jpg

This lived in Neal’s Yd, Covent Garden next to a bakery. At lunchtime people queue for the bakery next door.
Insert a coin and a sign in the door pops up saying ‘Sorry, no bread left’. The figures then react in turn – the old lady’s eyes pop out, the girl’s jaw drops, the gent frowns, and finally the man at the back turns to the spectators and spits at them.
the money it took went to the Big Issue foundation.

You can see how it worked at the link below:
