here is a JSGME issue
I tried to disable my mods via JGSME. All but four mods disabled pursuant to JGSME in the reverse order in which they were installed. However, four mods did not uninstall. So, I deleted those four mods in the MOD folder. Then I deleted the JGSME shortcut and the JGSME.exe program. I turned off the computer. I restarted the computer. I downloaded, reinstalled JGSME, and opened it. The four mods where still there! WTF? They are masked, indicating that they have been overwritten, and when I try to delete them I get the message that a couple of other mods must be deactivated first. However, those mods have already been deactivated. In fact, I deleted those mods from the computer as well as the four that will not deactivate. Are the four that won't deactivate hidden on my computer somewhere?
Solution? |
I had that problem with one mod long ago. I can't remember the name of it, but the one mod wouldn't unistall, so the preceeding mods wouldn't. Wonder if it's the same one. There was a easy fix by the author. List the mods and if it's the same it should come to mind. Bubblehead had the same problem. However, seems like it was a TMO1.7 mod, but other versions could have the same problem.

never mind
I gave up and have to reinstall the game.

This would be having activated a mod during a running game. I think.

OT:
Mush, where can i get a nice skin like that with the teeth? Mahn people have some sweet looking Fleet Boats here. OT: Yeah i've had some near misses in SH4 editing files then realizing i've had the game running the entire time. I just need to stop alt tabbing out. Never good. Bad bugs happen. Way to disable it? |
its an old Redfin Skin I got it here....:|\\

Installed mods are stored in the jsgme .ini file, by the way.
May delete everything and still see it in the list as long as the ini file is unchanged ;) |
There is indeed a hidden folder in the MODS folder that contains the backup files. And guess what it's name is. ;)
My guess is your game file structure is corrupted now. Instead of trying to find the modded files and getting them replaced with the originals you might aswel start thinking of a re-install. I remember older versions of JSGME had a bug that could mess up the file structure in certain circumstances. Make sure you have the last version for your next install. |
