New 1/350 Trafalgar Model
I guess this will be hitting the shelves sometime soon.
Here is a review and a link to the sprue pictures. http://cs.finescale.com/FSMCS/forums/t/129502.aspx Pics http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/i...0&#entry547533 |
Looks good, Airfix really are pushing the boat out (if you'll excuse the completely unintentional pun) when it comes to their recent releases.

I like that Aifix is releasing this kit. I find the Brit boats a bit more interesting than the Yank boats as modeling subjects.
The fact that the Trafalgars have more beam in the engine spaces than in the bow is just one reason. Although I wouldn't mind seeing a Skate boat in the same scale. |
Bronco have also done the Vanguard in 1/350:

Well I purchased four copies. Mainly because at @ USD$10.00 I thought them reasonably priced and I have had a hard on for this class of boat for quite some time.
The model is available in the US for those who want them. |
HMS Trenchant in an experimental color scheme.

Very nice, I do love the Trenchants scheme, confused the hell out of me at first, but it's grown on me.
