resurrection

Is it possible to resurrect your commander after he has die on patrol? I'm asking this because on one of my patrols had destroyed an entire convoy using only my deck gun, then I returned to base at full time compression and then my u boat was destroyed in a collision. If any one could give me any info it would be very appreciated.

Unless you saved during the patrol, you can't load during that. But you can load the auto save that happened right before the patrol started. Just go to "careers" select the commander, and say load game. Pick which patrol you want to start on.

Yep, you just have to go back and load any save from when you were still alive. But it will erase everything that happened that save - you get a total do-over from that point on.

Which is why it's a good idea to make periodic saves during a patrol, especially after you've made a successful attack.

(Insert standard caveats about not saving while submerged or while within contact range of land, aircraft or other ships here.)

50K ton patrol, and saved with a plane radar contact 20 KM away.

Yeah, I was pissed.
