I can not resize screenshots, anyone know a solution?

Hello Sailor!

I have a problem with my full sized image or jpg (after conversion).I do not use hi-res mode when it does not work,to get a shot from Ctrl+F11 no problem, but to increase the resolution to such a good image, fit to upload a screenshot of Subsim seems to be difficult,I use different screen sizes and range from 19-23 even if it now plays no role,is grateful for the responses that lead to lasting change and solution :hmm2:

Note:Possibly this thread would be posted under the heading SH3.

Imageshack can resize images when you upload them.

I use the service, but can not change resolution,

I just run them through Gimp, tho you have to do them by hand (well, type in the size)

No I have not tried Gimp,

but if it means a drastic change so it is good,I saw their website, which program should be taken down? :hmmm:

What is your maximum size you can use to post a screenshot?

I'd say 1024x768 or equilevant of that would be the upper limit, not everyone have large monitors.

papa_smurf 08-04-10 01:38 PM

IrfanView all the way

Task Force 08-04-10 01:42 PM

@Vendor
Hmm, myself I usualy do 1200 X 675. seems to work fine.
http://www.gimp.org/ Gimp link.

so stop at 1024x768 which is therefore preferable, the picture is pretty small,or should I edit before uploading?

I myself usualy select the pictures I want to use. open them and resize in Gimp, then upload them to Imageshack/photobucked.

Thanks! I give it a chance

:haha:

Sorry bud but resizing the picture of it won't make it any bigger in reality. 1024x768 is still four inches.

Couldn't resist. I'm a child ya know?
