Irish ships
 

Last night around plymouth i was cruising and found 2 merchant ships from ireland going eastwards.This is in the month of october in 1939.As i approached the ships they shined their lights on me, but my crew did not react as if they were the enemy, although the ships did.I am using the GWX3 version and is this a bug?I thought ireland was neutral in the start of the war.Also, i see that france is my enemy and again its only 1939.I sunk 1 ship of france in sept. and it showed up on my record as a neutral sinking but my crew reacted as if the ship was an enemy.Any thoughts?

No such 'bug' in GWX3.0 or thousands of similar reports would have been received since its release.

Did you attack anything in the previous 24 hours?

Do you have any other mods installed?

Just because the Irish ships spotted you does not imply that they are not neutral. Neutrals use the spot light also.
If you haven't disabled the radio messages, you get one from BDU telling you not to sink French ships at the start of the war.

To answer J, no i have not attacked any ship within 24hrs.As for the radio message in the beginning, yes, i was told not to attack the frogs, but why does my crew react as if i should?Also on the map the french ports sre red.So, even if they are red, i should not attack the ships?

:D...That depends entirely on you. You have orders not to attack French ships. You also have free will and are in command. Are you willing to take the consequences of disobeying direct orders directly from you know who?....:shifty:

If the ports are red then they are your enemy but check the flags first because there are French and Free French vessels out there.
