problem installing gwx 3.0 gold
 

HI everyone,

i have a problem when installing the GWX 3.0 Gold, I have error messages saying the source files it is trying to copy are corrupt mainly in the "c:\progra..\ubi..\terrain folder. all the files containing data for the ports seems to be corrupt. I have done clean installs of sh3 but the mod still has this issue. any ideas?

Sounds like you have a file corrupted during d/l.

don't suppose you know which one of the downloads contains those files do you?

its the file pertaining to ...terraindata

I'm sorry I don't but you could use the search function that came with your OS.

I only have the Original Full install version on hand.
So I can not tell you which .bin file maybe corrupt at this time.
Checking the MD5 of each file should spot it.

thanks guys - i'm up and running now. just deciding what mods to add, finding out whether they are compatable and how to install them! great to be back on/under the water!
