If is something that I really love in SH5 is that I'm not forced anymore to have dials and all kinda crap on my UI and the full 3D environment gives the chance to play this game as a sim, like being a captain on a real sub. Finally, I'm free.. no more teleport to stations, not stuck in 1 place and all I can do is just to turn around... I'm free to run around my ship, give out orders and do whatever I wanna do.
First on my high realism mod list is skwasjer's Voice Recognition for SH5. Be a real captain and give out orders by voice, not by clicking on dials on ur UI. If you need dials .. just look around, there are plenty of it aboard the ship. That's why you need another must have mod: SteelViking's interior mod. This piece of art is not only makes your sub to look good, but also makes all dials work correctly. Another reason to not have any UI. For targeting I use only the Enhanced Recognition Manual (continued) where is a green line that will indicate where the broken stadimeter need to be pointed to get a correct range value. No automated "lock target" cheat where the computer will follow ur target and calculate the range and all that stuff you need .. so there is plenty of room for human error, another immersion in high realism and simulation. Ofc, these are the basic for me regarding the sub part. For the AI, there is IRAI made by TDW which will bring back to life the AI in the game. For the rest, there is plenty of mods around.. mods for internal sound, radio, sky, water .. everything you just need. Just take your time and browse the forum, there is a lot of goodies. Try them out and if you like them, thank the moders.. they worked hard to make us feel good playing SH5. |

Hello, I have installed mods using the Generic Mod Enabler as per the tutorial in the beginner thread, I have added a few mods to the activated mods list, that all went really well, but in the game there doesn't seem to be any difference. Am I doing something wrong? These are the mods that I am trying to run:
Ui-Boat V5.02 SteelViking's Interior Mod V1.2 SteelViking's Interior Mod V1.2.2 Patch Thanks for any help, I can't wait to get this game up and running! |
Help will come and formally welcome aboard NecroMarshall :salute: Generally start with Fifi's or Sober's mod list and work up or down to suit. Help is overwhelmingly available so you'll have no problems. Ask Away that's what it's all about! :yeah:

Thank you so much!
