Sure, I have a MacBook Pro 15" and you can play everything using Boot Camp.

1) Start Boot Camp (utilities).
2) Choose HD size e.g. 40 GB for Windows XP.
3) Install Windows XP / Vista etc.

Done.

To start up your computer, press ALT and choose your startup disk (Mac or Windows) and install SH3, SH4 or SH5.

Good luck. :salute:

My game

If you are looking for a use for your PC or want a game that can play on both PC or Mac -- mine does.

That's because it is an old fashioned text-based email game.

Don't throw out that PC ! There's still a value there, even though you don't see many PC games on the store shelves any more. :haha:

I can't believe you've got Win 7 crashing - mine is really stable (apart from using wrong graphics mode in Falcon 4.0 AF). Do you get BSOD or something else? Is it an install on a (relatively) old machine? PSU up to it? Heat extracted ok?

That depends what kind of Mac you have. :yep:

I have a MacBook Pro with NVIDEA 9600M(obile) GT. Perfect graphics, I can play SH5 on it too, without any problems.

However, he must have an Intel based Mac. Not the 'old' Mac range with an Apple PowerPC G5 processor.

i have been a pc gamer for years and im so used to the mouse i suck aiming with a console... i do use a usb game controller but only when i want to play my old school emulators or need for speed.... otherwise pc all the way!!!

Sorry for OT, but interesting site. Do you have a thread here?

Also, I thought Mac was the preeminent graphics OS. I have a photographer friend that dropped $7k on a Mac system.

That's one way to go or (if you are not fan of dual boot) get program called Fusion (it emulates PC environment on Mac without the need of allocating disk space).
Either way SH3 should run just fine.

A big thanks to all of you:salute:

I did not wrote Fusion (VMware) or the virtual machine from Parallels, because my experience is not quite good.

Virtual machines are OK, but often not good enough to play games. (as said, my experience) ... ;)

Good luck Laufen!

Try Crossover Mac. I've been using the linux variant for some years now and it works flawlessly.
