Tea Healthier Than Water?
Saw the report on this on Up To The Minute early this morning. Unable to find the video of that broadcast, so here's an article:

You've been listening to to many Englishmen. :haha:

Quiet, you! :DL |
I think we have a fellow traveller in our midst...
What's next? Roundabouts and you spell the word "colour" |

Krashkart, which side of the road do you drive on?
Do you find black pudding repulsive or tasty? Name you favorite cricket team? |
At first glance, I'd say some researchers have been pandering to the tea council for research funding and bbc needed a story. A number of health benefits have been attributed to tea, some genuine, some not, but at least as many health maladies can be attributed to caffeine alone.
One way or the other, I shall continue to enjoy tea the way it is best enjoyed; unsweetened, and ice cold, served in a tall glass:DL |
Confess Krashkart, confess your sins!
A dramatic re-enactment of krashkart's confession http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=CSe3...eature=related part II http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=0_nL...eature=related |

Someone actually said this to my dad when he was stationed in England. At first he was like :o :timeout: But then they clarified things a bit and he got another interesting lesson in how England and America are two countries separated by a common language. He also found out right quick after arriving that calling someone a "booger" was not quite the same thing in London as it was back home. |
Actually tea is properly served the Southern way.....
Sweetened and Ice Cold. However - I do like a spot of sweet Earl Gray, piping hot - on occasion. (Unsweetened tea - I mean - whats the point???) |
That clearly is not the right way to spell coffee, *******s.
