Lasers on warships

Just came across a short clip from a successful test of ship born laser weapons to counter drones and probably missiles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtvCbX3Ffw8

Now all we need are sharks with frikken lazers attached to their heads

Lasers are nice, but nothing looks as impressive as a railgun :arrgh!:

That's fake! Everyone knows that lasers make that cool "pew pew" or a "trilling" Star Trecky sound.

I think we are going to need these.

I heard that the Chinese are working on a "Torpedo" that when detonated releases high energy photons that destroys its target...
