Wow, what a terrible thing. Good thing no Republican President has ever done that. :yep:

Imagine, President Obama doing something that he is specifically authorized to do in the Constitution (article II section 2). :nope:

what nerve, huh?

Hey now, don't you remember when SteamWake criticized the 171 recess appointments that Dubya made? He was especially critical when Bush recess appointed John Bolton as UN Ambassador after he was blocked by the Senate. So don't go thinking that he's a hypocrite who points out this stuff only when the other guy does it, ok?

is it just me or is everyone else getting sick of the republican spam that seems to haunt the general topics board? Every time there is some form of new political debate about, there is a thread about it. I mean I'm from the UK and all it is, is republicans with their "omg, the president is doing this 'Rage quit from life' It's sooooo pro terrorist lolz"
If the government doesn't know how much toilet paper you use on each wipe, you're a ****ing terrorist. Seriously, stop, pause and read what it is you're posting. I have no problem with conservatives, it's just that in america once again, things get taken too far. The mentally unstable have too much/majority of an opinion when it comes to running your country. I'm not having a go at Americans, as you are the nicest bunch of people that one could ever meet. I'm just saying, use Mr. brain before you go on about what fox news says is fact...

Edit: maybe we could have politics sub forum

Watching your angry "mentally fit" guys argue in parliament is far more entertaining than our "mentally unstable", I agree sir. :D

I second that.

But sadly this has been asked on numerous occasions before and the answer is 'no'.

Nothing but respect for our friends and allies in the U.K. We are all victims of powers we can not control.

A recess appointment is his prerogative. While you didn't see angry posts by conservatives for W's appointments, you DID see the left go ballistic, instead. So both sides are hypocrites here.

I'm sick and tired of being blamed for everything these morons do! The Left doesn't blame the Right, they blame me! The Right doesn't blame the Left, they blame ME! Every time the prez wants to say something, it's "The White House said today..."! Every time some flunkey wants to make a buck it's "The White House leaked the information"! Why can't these guys blame each other? I never did anything to them; why do they have to drag my name through the mud? I'm sick of it!

But, if you are "just a building" as you "claim" then how can you post on this Internets Tubes forum?

Answer that one, smart building!

Lord_magerius 07-07-10 08:49 PM

Maybe he can post, as we all know the internet is a series of tubes. The white house must have some form of tube system in it. Therefore he is the internet and can post at all times on forums anywhere in the world. Even those that have yet to be created :o
