Hey, i JUST bought sh5 and am installing. And uhmmm is there anything like i should know like uhhh any serious issue before i set sail???

yea uhmm, they made it pretty dam clear that you must be connected. im talking like issues or some tips would be helpful :DL

On a more helpful note, make sure to check out the mods section. Apparently they make SH5 playable. :yep:

i have SH4 so im not a SH noob, but SH5 noob.

you'll do fine then. 3, 4, and 5 all play pretty much the same

There is a stickied forum thread that is a huge collection of tips and advice. You should check it out before diving into the full game. Sadly, the user manual is pathetic and of almost no use. Happily, almost everything you'll need to know, to get the most out of this terrific game, is on the thread I mentioned, and scattered throughout this SubSim Radio Room! There are quite a few spoilers, however. If you're the kind of player that likes to discover things for himself, this may ruin a few surprises.
