FM Sonar detectSubnetsMines ??

Hi
Does anyone get this mod to work "FM Sonar detectSubnetsMines",if how to detect mines and subnet??:-?

Nope, sry.. I do have own methods to notice those, though.
One being ship movements - if a Convoy or patrol near an island seems to run in circles, there might be a reason for it. So that makes me suspicious, especially when there's shallow water involved.
I then up the obs scope a little ("insert" key) and use it to look below the waterline, running at slow speed, while the main periscope can still be used for rare surface looks. Mines can nearly always be outrun using a deep approach or wild rudder turns at higher speeds (this is fun, the guy who taught me much about tactics almost had a heart attack when I ordered flank speed instead of diving underneath the mines - I survived), subnets call for emergency stop and going around them - or, much safer, a full stop and a wait until your prey found its way to you outside the net.

If you want to get some practice, use the small island base at
7°20 N, 151°40 E, southwest of Guam. They have a strong patrol so beware. I usually go there somwhen in '42 to get my records up.

They never could get the mod to work too well because of the FPS hit most people take.A shame for sure, would be cool.
