I can't recall getting a pilot rescue in RSRD as long as I've played, but got one to rescue three. Only two were there and mission was incomplete, but I waited around. Then a group of DD's came down the slot and I sunk one, but got 8 on me. I had cams on, but contacts off, but before I could escape, another group showed up. Before it was over I counted around 28 DD's hunting me...it wasn't fun and took over 24 hours to escape. I did finally find another pilot and mission complete, but what a beating.

No way to fit them all in as they were spread out as far as the eye could see, but never had so many on me.

Wow! Those Japs really wanted those pilots!:o Or perhaps they figured a sub would be sent to pick them up and they took advantage of that...

Blow ballast! Man the deckgun and send them an ultimatum! :arrgh!:
