help cant use installed radar or sonar upgrades
 

I am currently running Sh3 patch 1.7 w GWX gold 3.1 Gold, SH commander and GSGME mod installer. SH date is April 1942 and have the VIIC boat. Ive had the radar upgrade for a while and just acquired the active sonar mod as well however I cannot use either. When starting any patrol I get the message that the sonar has been destroyed rendering it unuseable. The radar does show installed and I can see the radar array attached to the con tower. I cannot get the radar to function however as the single sweep, continuous sweep or even the turn radar off controls are not operative. Selecting any of them gives no confirmation and during patrol no radar updates are ever given. There appears to be no radar signals emitted as no escorts or ships seem to detect it. Any ideas why both radar and sonar cannot be used? Thanks

You run SH3/Patch 1.4b and use GWX 3.0,right? About upgrades depending on money (renown) but if you have it, so could you have some minor conflict or any other mods install,maybe they have take place in the Mods folder and create some negative effect,
