Patrol vessel
 

My excursion into the Med has ceased due to CTDs so I'm back in Aug '39, once again nipped into Dover, simultanious stern eel at the troop ship at the end and two forwards into the cruiser near the harbour entrance, on the way in there was a patrol vessel sitting in the entrance also and he tried to block me but once I was passed he ignored me (hostilities begin the next day!), then he comes steaming my way on a DC run - which I narrowly, and luckily, avoided - then I just hear continuous 'booms', up periscope to find him destroyed by his own DCs.

Lady luck on my side or what?

Phew, glad I'm not stoopid. By the way that email I just got from a Nigerian lawyer saying I'd got a huge inheritance from my long lost uncle Nygumba only needs £10 000 to release it into my bank account, bargain, where do I sign.

One of my favorite was in a Aug 42 convoy attack.

The 8 escorts that attacked me, attacked me so much that one dropped his depth charges, then reversed over them to get out of another ships way. This happened to 5 of them. I, of course, escaped.

Don't you know not to trust those people? I got an email from the FBI telling me how evil they are. In fact they even asked for my help to combat this, and they promised me a huge reward for my help. And it was the US government, so of course I pitched right in. Only cost me $5000. I'm much smarter than you!
