Transferring A Campaign to a Different Computer

Back in April, I started a campaign in SHIII on my laptop. I transferred the campaign files from it to my desktop and when I went to start playing the campaign today, the Saved Career button is grayed out and I can't continue.

I placed the files on my Vista 64 desktop in the C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\Documents\SH3\WhiteKnight77 folder which is the same folder on the Windows 7 laptop. I really would like to be able to play the campaign on both computers, but am afraid I am missing something to be able to play on my desktop.

I did a search, but came up empty as to my particular problem (lots of crashed saved game problems, but apparently nothing on the transferring of files).

All help is appreciated. TIA

The folderstructure should be something like this:

C:\Users\xxxxxxxx\Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\C ommandersname

(EDIT: I don't know why that space shows up in "Commandersname" in this post. I wrote it correctly.)

The cfg-folder also contains some .cfg settings files which you probably missed but the game might require. But I don't know for sure. I just copied the complete SH3 folder from my previous installation of Win Vista to Win 7. Which worked for sure.

Do check if your mods are identical on both systems or it might crash! But you are probably allready in port so it might not matter.

Thanks. I did get it sorted and now my career is showing up. I had the files in the neighborhood, but not the exact street so to speak. Now I can enjoy my career on my desktop and laptop. :yeah:
