Reg Cleaners BAH !!!
I should have known better than to use one instead of doing it myself.
I've had GWX 3.0 and Commander on hdd since it was released and jsgme mod it. NEVER have had a problem in all this time. I use a reg cleaner once after unistalling a game and GWX won't play now. .dll missing error. Da**it , S**t, to he!! :damn::damn::damn: |

I never use registry cleaners, usually just format the whole thing.

While I'm using my trusty netbook to post, my Gaming rig is reformatting. :damn: |

But I deselect all of the SH3 that CC finds before cleaning. I also use the reg cleaner of tune up utilities. it never game a problem with the game! |

I didn't think it would screw with installed games. Just thought it would get rid of any bits left behind from Uninstalled stuff. It also broke all my DT online shortcuts. :arrgh!: |
I always use reg cleaner couldn't live without it CCleaner is pretty safe but less powerful. COMODO reg cleaner is CRAZY and very effective but it poses more risk than CCleaner

The only one that was ever any good IMO, was Norton's Win Doctor.:yep: |

Using CC myself, never no problem, but helping to delete hundreds and thousands of unneeded entries over long time. System collects entries not only when installing software, you know. Not occasionally cleaning the reigstry will sooner or later make a difference that is to be felt in booting times.
