For anyone who wants to learn to be a SAM operator

I stumbled across this today. It's a neat little sim. I figured that Subsim of all places would be the place to share it. :DL

Has been mentioned over in the Flightsim section, there is a lack of support for 1024*768 pixels as Xabbarus has discovered. Nifty little sim though, very extensive.

Looks interesting. Kind of put off by the one supported screen resolution, though. :hmmm:

-in the local newspaper's headlines-
Local Teenager nearly Mauled by Angry Father
At 2:30 AM local time a teenage boy, hereon identified by his username Sledgehammer427, was nearly killed by his father after an incident regarding a new computer simulator, which simulates the operation of a SAM missile launcher.
"I was playing it right. My russian's not that good" the boy said "but I forgot I left my speakers turned almost all the way up and I found, totally on accident, the air raid siren button."
The boy's father immediately awoke and screamed at him to "turn his [expletive deleted] games down" from the bottom of the stairwell. Needless to say, the boy quickly found a pair of headphones.

at least if I ever need to grab his attention in the morning I know what to do :shifty::up:

At the website it says that the only screen resolution it will support is 1280x1024.

Finally! Just shot down a simulated F-16 from the air with the SA-2. Once figured it's not difficult at all. :hmmm:
