Anyone been having trouble with Fraps and SH5?
 

I've been trying to film a patrol and I keep crashing in various unsettling ways. Once was just a poof to desktop, next was a client lockup but everything else was running fine. Wondering what's up. :(

What version of FRAPS do you have?

I had a major lock -up and crashes till i took out w_clear 2.2 I ran 2.2 for 2 patrols so it seems it takes awhile to happen but when it does you can't play at all without. ctd or lock-up. at least that what hoppen to me.

Bah, I was afraid of that, Env 2.2 is exactly what I wanted to show off in the video. :)

Ahh, I was using 3.1.2, I see 3.2.2 is out now. I'll upgrade in a bit and try it out again.

I get CTDs usually when approaching choke points - like the Straits Of Dover or nearing Convoys or TFs.
These happen fairly often.

I'm running WClears Evironment V2.2 crashes seemed to occur more often since then. Wondering if I should regress back to V2.1, If so, I'll see if there is more stability and let you know.

Guys, at what points do you experience CTDs ? Is it when nearing TCs or Convoys, choke point ? or is it seemingly random ?

Always install Fraps on your Administrator-account.
