SH4 Commander mod?
 

hey soo im back, havent been on in awhile. hey soo i use to play SH3 n i had SH3 commander and i loved it, i recently downloaded SH4 from STEAM. is there a SH4 Commander mod?

Ducimus did not invent Ducimus Syndrome. I'm afraid a few vicious posters who aren't even regularly contributing members of the community can dampen any modder's desire to go through the torture again.

Yup, I was getting cranky spending too much time in the SH5 forum. I'm back here where I can have some fun.

JScones has posted that he may do some stuff that could be used by others to build a Commader like application.
He'd provide the dll's with instructions so others could build the front end.

I can't remember the exact thread though.

As for a SH4 commander? I wouldn't hold my breath.

.....if I could figure out how to extract the data from the careersave files and get it into Visual Basic.
I'm an old programmer but haven't had to program anything for years so am 'obsolete' by computer standards LOL. I'm just getting back into it by learning some Visual Basic and hoping to contribute something back to the subsim community and the modders for all their work.

Anyone that can give me some pointers would be appreciated.:salute:

I'll take a look at it after I finish the Patrol Map stuff.
