3 Russians, a Frenchman, a Chinese, and a Columbian walk in to a bar....

Well not exactly a bar, but they will be walking in to a mars exploration spacecraft simulator and will spend 520 days in isolation as test subjects for psychological and physiological testing.

520 days. And we call ourselves hardcore simulator players. :O:

Personally, I see this as more a publicity stunt than a real experiment.

We never get short of new ways to waste time and money.

Without women involved in the experiment results and conclusions will not be representative nor sufficient. :nope:

Most frequently no woman gets involved in this kind of experience.
Unlike men, women have a stupidity detector naturally implemented.

520 days with out the company of a woman can be stressful
520 days in the company of a woman can be stressful :D

You mean, in the company of one woman only(?)
They should have their mothers with them.:rotfl2:

Just a thought but can mars even be reached in 500 days?

Yes. 500 days is about the travel time (both ways) with the minimum delta V.

In the absence of a woman an Frenchman can suffice.

If this were true a lot more of you would be single.

P.S. If we can send six men to Mars... why can't we send them all? :O:
