SH5 Multiplayer
 

I know SH5 is mainly a singleplayer game. But how is the multiplayer ?.Can you still play as a destoyer like in silent hunter 4 ? I found SH3 Multiplayer pretty bad, sub vs sub is quite boring and unrealistic.

Generally I only play MP. I like the wolfpack experience with real commanders in each sub. We have a range of customs maps we play, mainly convoy and taskforce attacks. At the moment SH5 does not support adversarial mode nor do we have a playable surface boat mod. I can say though in the 3 months the games been out its come along way, much further than SH3/4 this early in. Who knows what we will have mods/patch wise in 3 more months.

do you communicate with the other sub commanders with the Radio? I'm guessing the enemy would detect you if you sent a Radio message. Or is there a ingame chat ?

The consensus is we use both....

In the multiplayer you can only use the Submarine.

hi all,

played with the Editor today in adversirial Mode and can set a DD to Human. The Problem is that this DD will be reset to AI then.
This Mode is fixed or not, it is possible to play a DD as Human or not at this Time (3 Month`s later) ?
