Corrupt Downloads

I am trying to download TMO 1.9 from filefront and all I get is corrupted data - entry to the Sim link is denied me???

Just tried again, fourth attempt, all files corrupt

Somebody just recently said some of my radio mods were corrupt from there too. I haven't had time to check yet.

If true, this isn't the first time they've done this. I don't know what it is with their servers, but files get corrupted on them sometimes.

got corrupt file reports too, i think it's time
to move everything to subsim.

Admiral is going to send me his uncorrupted copy. Lets hope it works. I got the patch too but obviously cannot load it until 1.9 is in situ. Regarding moving everything to subsim, does that mean a massive increase in bandwidth or should it be minimal?

I didn't think about this before, but TMO 1.9 is here in the downloads section.

It goes to a mods section which says I am not allowed.

That's some kind of glitch then. If you're registered here, you should have access. Can you go to the mods forum? Because it's protected the same way. If you have one, you should have both.

Ducimus again?

The Duc(k) probably has his staff investigating his qualifcations. He is very protective of TMO.:haha:

Thanks Chubb. Got loads of cannot open file currupt messages (2400+) but it seems to have installed into the mod manager? Weird. How do I insert the patch, just replace relevant folders?

Red Devil 06-01-10 06:01 PM

I ran the game on TMO 1.9 and note that weather control is back. From a clear sea on TMO 1.8 I am in the midst of a thunderstorm - no probs, better for me. No problems to report as far as I can see except pixilation of clouds is quite pronounced in spite of my GeForce 9400 GS 1GB Ram vid card.

Patfch not added yet as I am unsureif I only have to over write folders.

Update: Whilst I am again downloading TMO1.9 I would tell you that I have just done a sys restore to 2 weeks ago because a video driver I was trying to update was giving me grief after download and was possibly corrupted too.

After sys restore, it worked perfectly, so am now going to test TMO 1.9 again.

Strange, did another complete reinstall due to folder security problems now all seems to be ok. JSGME however is another story. I have reinstalled it and tried to relocate mods back into it from my downloads folder, but it does not seem to want them? Currently redownloading TMO 1.9 to see if it will go in directly. :06: I also bought a replacement SH4 (up to 1.3 installed, upg to 1.4 now) as my original is now confined to honoured archives due to wear and tear.

Conclusion: win 7 was reporting, falsely in most cases, corruption of files. But not yet tried to download TMO 1.9 from file site.

JSGME (latest ver) refuses all downloads, windows empty??
