:nope: intracranial hemorrhage suffered after a fall which left him in a coma.

I can remember going to a private school when i was about 6 or 7 years old... this particular school was partly designed for parents with odd schedules so we had a waiting room for the kids to stay in awaiting parents to pick them up after school let out at 3:00. I recall some evenings it might be 5:00 or 6:00 before some kids - self included - could be picked up. it was fun though... board games, building blocks, quiet rooms to do homework if you desired... but they had a portion of the room with a TV.

They would always put the TV on after school programs. Different strokes was always close to ending about the time my parents could find a chance to pick my sister and I up from school.

Different Strokes was one of those TV programs that defined the 80s IMHO

May his soul find peace and shelter in the hand of the Creator.

I never figured he would make it to an old man because of the kidneys.. head injury was not what I expected to read when I saw the headlines... sad stuff.

I also have not been able to think of Gary Coleman in years without the damn picture of him and Mark Messier coming to mind!

I do quite believe there is what appears to be a scrotum in that picture.

Their now saying it looks like the bleed may have caused the fall:cry:
Maybe He'll get some peace now ,that show was cursed for the kids in it , only one in the show that had a normal life afterwards was Conrad Bain

Kimberly Drummond (Dana Plato)
Plato committed suicide in May 1999, aged 34. After Diff'rent Strokes she posed nude for Playboy but drug addiction and financial trouble led to her conviction for armed robbery in 1991. Her son Tyler Lambert committed suicide on May 6 this year, almost exactly 11 years to the day after his mother's death.
Willis Jackson (Todd Bridges)
The 45-year-old successfully battled a cocaine addiction and a murder charge in the 1980s before trying his hand at celebrity boxing, celebrity Fear Factor and celebrity championship wrestling (using the persona "Mr Not So Perfect"). Starred last year in Z-grade See Dick Run about a conman who loses his penis.
Mr Drummond (Conrad Bain)
The 87-year-old has been out of the public eye since the mid-1990s and lives in Los Angeles with wife of 65 years Monica Sloan.

Charlotte Rae didn't have any scandalous or odd events in the news after the show that I can recall....

Neither did Janet Jackson..... oh wait! :o

I do hope he's happy and at peace, now. He had a rough ride.
