Its all Bush's fault

It was only a matter of time...

Chris Dodd has been in the U.S. Senate now for five six-year terms and might have been looking into drilling safety precautions instead of special mortgage deals. So he too is eager to spread blame elsewhere.

You'll never guess which recent Republican president Dodd tries to finger for last month's underwater blowout.

You'll get a good chuckle out of Imus' incredulous response starting around the 1:20 mark.

Yea.... they better get a handle on the Sestac thing too. :03:

Why does every new US goverment blame the last administration for their troubles? Oh wait..... we do the same over here in the UK.......:damn:

gimpy117 05-26-10 04:05 PM

except the ecnomic Meltdown and other stuff began during bush's watch...

Platapus 05-26-10 04:09 PM

Well how long did Bush Jr blame Clinton, who blamed Bush Sr, who distanced himself from Reagan (can't totally dis your own party), who blamed Carter, who blamed....... . Poor George Washington, it must have sucked not to have any previous president to blame.

Blame the British

Maybe its because Bush let biz go hog wild during his admin? Of course it encourages taking shortcuts.

And Obama started to do the same but this is his oil spill and his lackluster response sucks.

SteamWake 05-26-10 05:03 PM

heh Obama was going to give this rig a safety award.. :haha:

lets not forget that BP gave a few dollars to Obama as well as his opponent. you have to hedge your bets you know.

(Sorry left shift is broke... )

Damn brits. It's all their fault!

Seriously though, when was the last time we had a president who would, stand up, and take responsiblity for anything that happened on his watch, and not point the finger at someone else? You know... someone with integrity?

An oxymoron of that magnitude would surely create a singularity that would destroy the world as we know it!

Ducimus 05-26-10 05:40 PM

Yeah i know, contradiction in terms. Integrity in general, seems to be a rarely seen trait these days from what i can tell.

Sounds like Harry Truman to me.

You have it lucky, as you are in the midlands you can blame the northerners or the southerners or both. Then you can blame the scots for all the scottish people that end up sitting in westminster ruining the country before falling back on that old tradition of blaming the french.

Oberon 05-27-10 05:55 AM

The French, always the French, who will blame the Germans who will blame the Austrians, who will blame the Hungarians, who will blame the Romanians, who will blame the Ukrainians, who will blame the Russians who will blame the US....
